India's leading education startup Byju's on Tuesday said it has acquired one of India's leading online exam preparation platform Gradeup, though the amount of the deal was not disclosed. The partnership will enhance BYJU's presence in the rapidly growing online competitive exam preparation segment, the company said in a statement. Gradeup will be rebranded as 'BYJU Exams Prep' and will help you prepare for over 150 exams across 25 categories including government jobs, IAS, GATE, CAT, Bank PO and entrance exams like Clerk, Defense and UGC-NET. will give guidance.

Byju Raveendran, Founder and CEO, BYJU, said, “With Gradeup, we will be able to advance our exam preparation offerings to postgraduate level exams.” Picking them up will make them more in-depth and make the coverage of the exam more comprehensive. Gradeup was founded in 2015. During this time the company helped more than 2.5 crore students in the preparation of various examinations. On the other hand, Byju's which has more than 10 crore students registered and 65 lakh customers these days is busy acquiring technology platform one after the other. In April this year itself, Byju's acquired Aakash Educational Services Ltd for $1 billion. In July, it acquired Singapore-headquartered Great Learning for $600 million. Along with this, it has also announced an additional investment of $ 400 million in the field of higher education and professional education.
